Dogs

Senior dogs (age 8+): $160
Dogs: $320

Dog adoption fees include:

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • De-worming treatment
  • Basic health examination by a veterinarian (examination of eyes, ears, heart and teeth)
  • Spay or neuter surgery
  • Microchip (24PetWatch Pet Protection Services)
  • Six weeks of pre-paid pet insurance
  • One-year membership to the Upper Credit Humane Society

We always recommended booking an appointment with your regular veterinarian for an examination of your new pet following adoption.

Cats

Senior cats (age 8+): $100
Cats: $160
Two cats or kittens (adopted together): $250

Small animals

$10 – $50 depending on the species, if the animal is spayed/neutered and what is included in the adoption e.g. housing or supplies

Sample fees (dependent on criteria above):

$10 Bird/hamster/gerbil/guinea pig

$20 Rat/chinchilla

$20 Rabbit (not spayed or neutered)

$50 Rabbit (spayed or neutered)

Small animal adoption fees include:

  • Basic health examination at the shelter
