Fiona is getting frustrated!
Fiona has been in the shelter system for over two months and is feeling rejected and increasingly frustrated. She is an attractive young girl, approximately 18 months who needs more exercise than we can offer. Confinement and youth do not go together so once re-homed this should rectify if opportunities for play and exercise are abundant.
Fiona is a tan lab/boxer cross, medium sized and weighing around 45 lbs. Fiona is housebroken, has her basic commands and would be suitable for an adult only or families with children 16+. Fiona, although a busy bee, is also a cuddly lap dog, soaking up any affection that comes her way. Like all youth Fiona enjoys her toys; running and playing and will definitely need a fenced yard.
Fiona is a beautiful loving girl, energetic but walks well on leash with a head halter. She accepts calm dogs but would be happier and most suited to life as the only dog in the house. The longer Fiona stays in care, the more frustrated she becomes, she does not have the wisdom for coping and she needs more physical and mental stimulation and the love of a trusted family to reach her potential.
Fiona looks forward to that family arriving asking for her by name so if you are interested please call the shelter at 519-833-2287 or e.mail email@example.com to arrange a meet and greet.
