Are you thinking about adding an animal to your family? We are thrilled you are considering adoption as it provides the animals in our shelter with a second chance at a happy home.
The UCHS provides safe shelter to healthy, adoptable animals until they can be placed in suitable, permanent homes. Animals remain in our care until the right home is available, and no animal is ever euthanized due to lack of space or because they have been at the shelter for a long time.
Prior to being adopted, all animals are vaccinated, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped and given any other necessary veterinary care.

If you fall in love at first sight, you can share details about the animal on Facebook, Twitter or by email simply by clicking the button for your preferred method at the bottom of each animal’s photos.
