Fundraise for the animals

Want to get involved and help the animals in your community? How about hosting your own fundraiser with proceeds going to help the animals?

Here are some creative ways you can help the shelter:

Birthday celebration

Having a birthday party and want to help the animals? In lieu of presents, why not ask your guests to bring a donation for the shelter. A cash donation or an item from our wish list would make a great present.

Wedding gifts

Getting married and already have everything you need? In lieu of gifts, why not ask your guests to donate to the shelter on your behalf?

Kick start a school fundraiser

Get students, teachers involved in hosting a fundraiser and raise awareness about responsible pet ownership at your school.

  • Have an animal themed bake sale (how about bone-shaped cookies)
  • Host an animal themed workshop/seminal (e.g. dog behaviour, responsible pet ownership, animals around the world, etc.)
  • Organize a car wash

At the office

Round up your fellow co-workers and fundraise for the shelter:

  • Casual dress down day at the office
  • Lunch barbecue/ice cream treats with proceeds going to the animals at UCHS
  • 50/50 draw

Create your own fundraising event

No fundraising event is too small. Why not have all your friends over for a spaghetti dinner and charge $5 a plate? What about a lemonade stand or a car wash for the animals?

Our Fundraising Committee can help you brainstorm or organize events for the shelter. Send us an email at fundraising@uppercredit.com and let us help.
