Jeffrey was an outside stray cat who was brought to UCHS in November 2021. He is very timid and will hide when scared. Jeffrey had to have a tail amputation and has left him with little to no tail due to an injury, but that has since all healed up. Jeffrey has tested positive for FIV and will need to be in a home that can accommodate that. FIV is a virus the weakens the immune system and is found very commonly in outdoor cats. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats in a fight but not to other animals or humans. To thrive, they need quality food and to be indoor cats.
