LOKI
Adopted: 2023
It’s been a great year. The two dachshunds welcomed him from the start, and we walk together as a pack of three, which always draws smiles and comments from those we meet. Loki is friendly to people and other dogs, and especially likes children. We love him and are so happy he came into our lives! I urge anyone looking for a new pet to consider adopting from a shelter – there are
GINNY
Adopted: 2021
I fostered Ginny (formerly Guinness) but quickly knew she'd be staying forever. She is a one woman cat, unless you are feeding her; then she loves you for the 2 minutes it takes you to put food in her bowl. She loves lounging in the sun, cuddling on my lap and playing with her mouse "Stanley", who she hides and then pulls out weeks or months later. She is the best company and is
LUCY
Adopted: 2021
Right from the start Lucy made herself at home. She loves our dog April. They have become a team. April is still the boss but Lucy does push April's buttons once in a while.
SWEET POTATO
Adopted: 2023
My husband and I adopted Sweet Potato and we wanted to thank you for bringing this darling cat into our lives. She enjoys sporting her signature look; the cutest over the shoulder pose. She knows she’s beautiful and uses it to attract attention. One of her favourite places to relax is our windowsill which allows her to pose for people passing by. She loves to be loved. Swe
LINNIE
Adopted: 2022
We adopted Linnie from the Upper Credit Humane Society in April, 2022. She just celebrated her 2nd birthday on Tuesday!
The UCHS adoption post described her as "the life of the party girl" and she lives up to that still. She's always ready to have fun! She loves all her people and while a party girl, she is just as happy to find a spot on the couch with them!
HOPE
Adopted: 2020
Miss Hope was at UCHS for a bit, was so skittish, and needed quite a bit of time to warm up. It took ALOT of patience and trust and we wouldn't have it any other way. She is very sweet, cuddly, and enjoys all the treats. She LOVES sun bathing in any warm spots throughout the house. She has taken on a love for my oldest male cat, Snowflake; they are inseparable. Thank you for a won
