Upper Credit Humane Society to request lease extension

The Town of Erin has confirmed that the Upper Credit Humane Society will present at the March 12 (3PM) Council meeting in an open, public session. All members of the Press are welcome and encouraged to attend the council meeting.

Upper Credit Humane Society turned to social media for help earlier this week after a sustained power outage. After losing power for almost two days in the dead of winter, we have been overwhelmed with community support!

HUGE thank you to our friends at Pet Valu - Main Street Milton who raised over $1577 and collected $1292 worth of product donations for the animals at the Shelter during Pet Appreciation Month! Extra special thanks to those who donated! 

UCHS has received veterinary clearance following a temporary closure to treat ringworm. As of August 22, 2025, the Shelter will reopen to the public. Adoptions and Shelter visits will resume at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The Shelter is temporarily closed to the public while animals undergo treatment for ringworm. We plan to reopen following a recommended quarantine period. We appreciate the community’s support during this time.

Let the Town of Erin know that the Upper Credit Humane Society is the most impactful way to “maximize the property’s value.”
